Sevdah by Damir Imamović is the first book about sevdah that brings together musical, poetic, cultural, historical and popular tendencies in the development of this genre, spanning three centuries of its documented past. This is, at the same time, the first book about sevdah written by a distinguished performer and author of sevdalinkas.
