Chroniques du Pays des Mères est un roman de science-fiction en langue française d'Élisabeth Vonarburg. Il a été publié pour la première fois au Canada en 1992 et a été traduit en anglais sous le titre In the Mothers' Land, puis réédité en anglais sous le titre The Maerlande Chronicles. Il a remporté le prix Philip K. Dick (citation spéciale) en 1992.
Interesting dystopia, where the author plays with language itself and gives words a different meaning. The storyline of past events and the religious aspects are somewhat confusing at times, but it all makes sense in the end.
