Promising, if a tad optimistic

I enjoyed this book, and I think the author did a great job laying out the history of cooperatives and the fertile ground for a modern resurgence. I was disappointed by his enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies, however. That said, this book was written in 2018 - peak crypto-hype. I’d be interested to see how the author’s thoughts have changed in the years since, where crypto has been brought down a peg in the eyes of most, and a pandemic has offered more case studies on decentralized organizing.
